University Tower Malate - LOCATION

The primary reason for constructing the University Tower Malate is to provide students with prime living spaces that can make their college lives all that easier. The location of the University Tower makes it highly accessible for any student that is enrolled in any of the colleges and universities in Manila. The nearest universities including the Philippine Christian University and Philippine Women’s University are just across the street from the condominium. A short commute away, you will find the Technological University of the Philippines and the Philippine Normal University. A few more blocks and you will reach the Intramuros area where you will find even more schools, like the Malayan Institute of the Philippines (formerly Mapua), Lyceum of the Philippines, Letran, and others.

Aside from schools, the University Tower is also near some large commercial centers. The nearest, and is actually walking distance away from the main lobby of the condominium, is the Robinson’s Place Manila. This huge shopping mall contains dozens upon dozens of shops and boutiques so your kids can shop for whatever they need or want, whenever they want. There are also several cinemas inside the mall so your kids and their friends can watch a movie during their down times.

Shopping is not the only thing that residents of the University Tower Malate can look forward to because it is just minutes away from the Rizal Park. This is the perfect place to just walk around and relax, especially if you do not have much money left in your wallet. There are so many things to see and do there, like visiting the newly renovated National Museum of Natural History and the National Museum of Anthropology. Admission is free. However, a donation will be most appreciated.

The Malate area is also known for having one of the best food scenes in Manila. There are literally dozens of different restaurants and eateries in the neighborhood that you will have a hard time choosing where to eat. If you want even more choices, you can head to the nearby Binondo area where you will find lots of restaurants that serve authentic Chinese foods at reasonable prices.

There are also plenty of hospitals and medical clinics in the immediate neighborhood, so you do not have to worry if ever your children will need medical assistance. For instance, if they just need a routine checkup, they can head inside the Robinson’s Place Manila and look for the Healthway Clinic, which is a multi-specialty clinic with lots of professional physicians of different specializations, ready and waiting to help. For serious health issues, the huge Philippine General Hospital is just a couple of blocks away.

The great thing about living in the University Tower Malate is that your kids can go home during the weekends then come back to the condominium on Sunday afternoon quite easily, thanks to the many public transportation options available. There are plenty of jeepneys, taxicabs, and tricycles on Taft Avenue that can take you anywhere in the city, and the LRT Pedro Gil station is only a couple of blocks away. This is also great for the parents because they can visit their kids in the condominium quite easily, even without taking their cars there.
